I think this bed is very well constructed and ships in 3 boxes. It's very clear that the designer/builder takes great care and uses quality materials. Also, the instructions were easy to follow and the markings on the bed made assembly easy. However, I would mention 2 things. 1) The headboard is LOW. I know it's a modern design, but I had to raise it. Otherwise, the headboard would have barely been visible over my pillows. 2) The color is attractive, but it's just walnut. I don't think the Reclaimed Railcar color is like the pictures. My bed doesn't have much black in it at all. Again, it's very stylish, but I don't think the samples online match the bed I received. Overall, I think it's a well-crafted, sturdy and great looking bed. I would highly recommend.

The bed is a GORGEOUS. Super solid wood and craftsmanship. The directions were on a QR code and easy to follow. Seriously the easiest furniture I’ve ever put together (waaaay less complicated than Wayfair stuff). Looks just like the photo! The ONLY thing we aren’t 100% thrilled with is that our mattress (standard king) isn’t an exact fit and the there are gaps at the corners and you can see the wood slats. We’re trying to come up with a workaround but it’s not a huge deal, the comforter covers it mostly.

Looks beautiful, however, not what I was expecting. I do understand it is barnwood, but I was still expecting a smoother finish. I sustained a few pricks already, and my hair keeps getting caught whenever I lean on the headboard. Also, the foot of the bed is not flushed, and I can't place a corner protector to keep my kid from getting hurt. Would have returned if accepted. Would not buy again or recommend if the issues I mentioned are important to you.

I gave a 5 star for customer service but I did not need to use it. The bed is exactly as pictured and solid. I live tiny and bought the full size. As a woman in her 60s, it took me 2 1/2 hours to put this bed together. There are no paper instructions but each piece is lettered and numbered and holes are pre drilled. The bed arrived UPS within the timeframe listed at purchase. It was well wrapped and no damage. Thank you for your craft.

I ordered a bed back in January, and it's March now, and I'm still loving it. My mattress, however, wasn't quite sitting on the slats right (I think the mattress itself was a little shorter than it was supposed to be), which was causing it to sag a little on the ends. I received two extra slats to help with this, and it's now absolutely perfect! Everything about this bed is perfect, and the customer service is outstanding! Should I need a new bed in the future, I'm definitely ordering from here again!

I slept in the bed for five days before writing this review. The bed doesn’t squeak at all, and it provides firmer support than the metal bed frame I previously used. Assembly instructions were easy to follow; parts were clearly marked and all the needed hardware was present. I got the frame-attached headboard, which attaches quite solidly to the bed frame. The bed arrived on time, and Marcus was very responsive and answered my questions promptly and thoroughly. If I had other bedrooms to furnish I’d purchase my bed frames from Danner Furniture. I chose the acacia wood for its warm tones, which allow it to coordinate with a variety of colors.

Was inadvertently shipped a bed with wall attached headboard, which didn't work for me at all. Marcus custom made a kit to attach to the bed itself, shipped very quickly with detailed instructions. Danner furniture packed the king size bed much better and had clearer directions. Putting furniture is never fun but he made it easy and the wood was extremely solid and well made. My husband comments multiple times on the difference of the quality of the build, the confusion of the other Etsy bed builder and also they forgot to ship a part to us as well. (Which they did eventually but that was a pain). The significance between the two beds came down to quality and construction. We were thrilled!

The headboard is made out of quality materials. It's assembled well. There are a few less than perfect cuts which bothers me as a fellow woodworker. Perhaps I missed it in the description but this is a wall mounted headboard and I needed a frame mounted. I will make the modifications so not a huge deal. The rating system on Etsy is out of 5 and I gave it a 4 but if it were a 10 scale I would give it a 9. I'm happy with the product and it's is as described. It looks great.
